WHEN WE DID FINALLY MEET IT WAS A MEETING OF MINDS. NOT ONLY DO WE HAVE MANY PASSIONS IN COMMON, ART & DESIGN, COLOUR, SUNSHINE, MUSIC AND A BIT OF MINXY SIDE BUT HAVING WORKED WITH CREATIVE BUSINESSES FOR SO LONG WE UNDERSTAND HOW THEY WORK, THE STRUGGLES THEY FACE AND HOW TO SUPPORT THEM.
AGENCY PEP WAS SET UP TO DO JUST THAT. WITH FRESH THINKING WE CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. BY THAT WE MEAN A BIG DIFFERENCE. OUR MISSION IS TO BRING creativity to sales and to advocate the power of good design.
JO
I inherited a love of music, design, and fashion, from my late father. He was a salesman with a refined eye and a love of entertaining and I guess I'm a chip off the old block. Post-university, I set my sights on working in the music industry. I landed a role with a record label, and there I fell in love with graphic design. The experience was enough to gain a position at a brand design agency. It was the perfect blend - creative and client-facing and I haven’t looked back.
10 years moving up the ranks, in-house at design agencies, 8 years as Client Services Director at a design industry new business agency, 5 years freelance business development consultancy for creative businesses until recently setting up Agency PEP.
I’m not a typical salesperson, quite the opposite. I am driven and love a challenge, but I’ve learnt my superpower is to be myself. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and chat with ease about anything design-led. I'm happy to say my approach does work, as I have opened hundreds of doors for my clients and helped them win new business with FTSE 100 organisations through to AIM and independents and continue to do so.

I believe we are all born curious and creative & that life is a journey of learning. I remain constantly curious, there is always one more question to be asked isn’t there?
Growing up I was told that I could do anything that I wanted in life. This has meant my professional path has been varied, exciting and an adventure.
I started in interiors, first soft furnishings, then commercial, nightclubs, bars & hotels. I chose to launch my first business when many of my friends were still studying.
A re-location to the coast meant a career flex and a move into architecture, manufacturing & sales. This led me to jointly owning an architectural, decorative glass factory & consultancy. Along the way, I have been lucky enough to be involved in events, festivals, trade shows and multiple exciting commercial ventures. There have been so many pinch me moments.
I am passionate about nurturing creative businesses. Watching your business flourish gives me a huge sense of joy. With over thirty years consulting and business experience I understand how to support and manage creative projects from conception to completion, always delivering with honesty, enthusiasm, and integrity.
